Key Responsibilities
Rewind and repair a variety of basic electromechanical equipment.
Remove existing windings and inspect components for electrical or mechanical damage.
Analyze winding failures and accurately record technical data from original windings.
Manufacture and install new coils according to specifications.
Perform voltage and electrical testing on standard windings.
Dismantle damaged or non-serviceable equipment, including media blasting when required.
Inspect motors and related equipment for signs of electrical malfunction or winding failure.
Document electromagnetic characteristics, operating conditions, and repair details.
Prepare reusable parts for rewinding and examine refurbished components for hidden defects.
Strip stators or similar assemblies without damaging the core or iron structure.
Test rewound equipment in compliance with EASA standards and maintain detailed test records
Required Qualifications & Skills
Minimum of 5 years’ experience rewinding AC and DC electric motors.
Hands-on experience with winding fields, armatures, and synchronous rotor poles.
Strong basic math skills, including fractions, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Ability to read, write, and understand moderately complex instructions and technical documentation.
Capacity to learn, apply, and retain job-related training, safety rules, and operational procedures.
Experience operating and performing VPI (Vacuum Pressure Impregnation) processes.
Good judgment and decision-making skills within established company guidelines.
Ability to safely operate machinery, tools, and hoisting equipment.
